Payment Failure

Scanguard accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discovery, American Express and credit or debit cards. We also accept PayPal payments. If your attempt to upgrade or purchase a subscription is not successful, it could have been due to one of these reasons:

  • The payment has been declined by your credit card provider

  • The credit/debit card entered has expired or has insufficient funds

  • The credit/debit card number is invalid or has been reported as lost/stolen

  • The CVV code was not entered correctly

  • The credit/debit card is not valid for online or cross-border transactions or transactions in a foreign currency

To resolve the payment issue we recommend that you contact your bank to find out the reason the payment failed, and then, once the issue is resolved, to give it another try.
