Scanguard Settings

Generate Log Files

To make it easier for our Scanguard tech support team to solve your issue and provide you with a speedy resolution, we would ask you to provide us the Scanguard log files.

Taskbar

Click the Hidden Icons Arrow on the right of the Windows Taskbar.

System Tray Icon

Hold the Shift Key and right-click on the Scanguard System Tray Icon.

Generate Logs

Click Generate Troubleshooting Data.

  • Pressing the Windows key ⊞ and R together to open the run window.
  • Putting %programdata%/scanguard/logs into the run window.
  • Click OK.
  • Selecting all files in the folder.
  • Right click and Compress to ZIP file.
  • To make it easier for our Scanguard tech support team to solve your issue and provide you with a speedy resolution, we would ask you to provide us the Scanguard log files

  • Hold the Option / Alt Key and Click on the Scanguard Menu Bar Icon (Top right near the clock).
  • Click Generate Troubleshooting Data

  • Open the Scanguard Application
  • Tap the Menu Icon
  • Tap Settings
  • Tap Send
